Privacy Policy

• The link you paste. It's sent to our server only to find the media in that post. It isn't saved to a database or linked to you.
• Your IP address and basic request details (such as browser type and time). These are handled by our hosting and security providers to deliver the site, prevent abuse and keep short-term server logs. We also count requests per IP address in temporary memory to stop automated abuse. This count is not stored.
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and email address to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.

• No accounts, names, passwords or payment details.
• No tracking or advertising cookies.
• No copies of the videos or photos you download.
• No history of the posts you look up.

• Meta (Threads). Previews and downloads come from Meta's media servers, so your browser connects to them when a preview loads or a file downloads. Meta's own privacy policy applies to those connections.
• Hosting and security providers. Our site runs on cloud infrastructure (such as Vercel and Cloudflare), which processes technical request data to serve and protect the site.

If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this policy before doing so and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Server and security logs are kept only for a short period by our providers and then deleted automatically. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to how it is processed. Because we don't keep accounts or download histories, we usually hold no personal data except emails you send us. To make a request, email contact@savethread.app.

SaveThread is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
