The MP4 opens in the Windows Media Player or Photos app, QuickTime on Mac, VLC, and editors like CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and iMovie.

Chromebook and Linux

The steps are the same. On a Chromebook, downloads go to the Files app → Downloads. On Linux, they go to your browser's download folder, usually ~/Downloads.

Common problems on a computer

  • The video plays in a new tab instead of downloading: use the Download MP4 button, not "Open in new tab". In an open video tab you can also right-click → Save video as.
  • The link isn't accepted: make sure it's a post link (it contains /post/), not a profile link.
  • "No video found": see the troubleshooting guide.
